We currently offer two types of heat pumps for installation: air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps, both of which can replace your existing heating system by providing 100% space heating and hot water.

Air source heat pumps extract heat from the air and connects’ to your radiator or underfloor heating system. Ground source heat pumps extract heat from the ground via pipes. These pipes are either laid vertically in boreholes or horizontally in trenches, which depends on how much land you have. We also install another type of ground source heat pump, which is an ‘open loop’ system. The open loop ground source heat pump uses the natural warmth of groundwater by pumping that water out of the ground and into the heat pump system before returning it.

Each of our heat pumps requires electricity to operate. We can assure you that the electricity will be used very efficiently, as the heat pumps will generate more heat energy than is required to run them.
