Does the installation cost include an upgrade of the whole heating system?

No, we have covered a few issues that you will encounter but not the cost of replacing emitters (radiators). MCS heat pumps are suitable for a variety of properties, particularly new build properties or those currently without central heating.

In the case on some retrofit schemes it may be necessary to replace your radiators as the “flow” temperature from a heat pump is circa 45⁰C compared to around 80⁰C for an oil or gas boiler.

This shouldn’t cost too much and is considered when you receive the RHI tariffs – we are able to offer you a full package from heat pump setting up through to either UFH (underfloor heating) or radiator installation.
