Reina Group visits the seaside to install heat pumps, not build sandcastles
The Reina Group have just been awarded a challenging contract to install ground source heat pumps for two new build beachfront properties down on Camber Sands.
This demanding contract has taxed all concerned to arrive at an economic but Green, Building Regulation compliant solution in this harsh, logistically testing environment. After the consideration of new generation electric boilers, solar thermal panels, photovoltaic cells, biomass boilers, the final solution was the installation of two Danfoss DHPL – Opti Pro 10kW ground source heat pumps with MVHR (mechanical ventilation heat recovery) units.
The problem was how to get the plant to site and working around the tides and continually moving dunes but as always the ever resourceful CEO, Ricky Reina solved the puzzle to the satisfaction of the client and main contractor
