MCS Heat Pump Installations in Deal
We are experienced heat pump installation engineers who cover the Deal area of Kent. We are Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approved suppliers. In addition to providing both ground and air source heat pumps, the Reina Group offer a full design service to help you design a system that suit your individual needs.
The MCS is a quality assurance scheme that offers consumers peace of mind. You can be sure that your heat pump installation will be carried out to the highest quality, and should anything go wrong, there is protection in place. The Government’s renewable energy incentives, for example RHI, help householders who choose to install green energy options in their homes. To be eligible for these incentives, one of the criteria is that you choose both an installer and hardware that is MCS certified.
MCS heat pumps help you to lower your energy bills, something that is particularly pertinent in these tough economic times. Energy bills are on the rise but heat pump systems use very little electricity to operate. They are ideal alternatives to solid fuel heating or for those in rural areas around Deal who are not on mains gas and currently using oil.
There are two main variants of heat pump: air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps. Air source heat pumps are installed on the exterior of your property and use a fan to draw air into the unit. The technology used is tried and tested; it’s very similar to a refrigerator, but in reverse. The ambient warmth in the air is extracted and turned into heat that is transferred into a wet central heating system, i.e. traditional radiators or underfloor heating, to provide space heating and hot water. Ground source heat pumps work in a very similar manner, however, as the name suggests, they extract warmth from the ground via tubes laid in boreholes.
