Reina Group Go To Town on Heat Pumps
Hunters, a large multi-disciplined architectural & building consultancy practice based in Hammersmith London, had asked if the Reina Group would perform a CPD presentation for their architects, building consultants & employers agents. Our Peter Graham had met James Price of Hunters (Employers Agent & Cost Consultant) on a local Town & Country Housing Group (T&CHG) project in Hawkinge and was so impressed with his technical knowledge to ask if we could provide a presentation on the Code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH) & Low / Zero carbon technologies for his colleagues in London. Debra Richards of T&CHG who is also involved in the Hawkinge project travelled up to town to enjoy the hospitality of our hosts and listen to the technical prowess of both Peter & Daniel Large who shared the 2 hour presentation. An insight into the CfSH was demonstrated by going through all 34 issues within a pre assessment and Daniel gave a thorough grounding in both air / ground source heat pump design, installation & benefits of MCS (microgeneration certification scheme). A question & answer session followed while enjoying the lavish spread that had been organized for the occasion which also went down extremely well
