Global warming is highlighted in the headlines every day, it seems to be on everyone’s mind; people demonstrating for the good of mother earth, going as far as gluing themselves to roads! People’s ears are pricking, and the attention is all on the World’s climate crisis! In Greta Thunberg’s words “This is the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced. So where do heat pumps play their part?

The Government must play their part to, concentrating on the home! Parliament have recently introduced a new grant scheme which starts in April 2022, to encourage homeowners to opt for renewable methods of heating.
It seems that people’s general opinion on the new Government grant scheme of £5K, is a little disappointing, however there is still an opportunity to take advantage of the current RHI scheme, up to March 2022. The RHI scheme offers money back on every unit of green energy used. Up to £12k is available on the RHI and money is paid back over a 5-7 year period.
